    Hi Yeo,

    Some questions about mojo2:

    1) "If you fit in the Paul Hynes 5v4 regulator at "5V" location above, you only use Output and Ground. "
    Why no Input? Don't understand! Must be I, O & G?

    2) About ACDC, I have some ACDCs, how to distinguish between 12V/18V and modify 12V to 18V and vice versa?

    Thx

    Hi Yeo,

I think I have made a mistake. I should use Audioslave than ACDC, right? Can you tell me how to modify the 5V Audioslave to 12V and 18V? If yes, can you pack three Audioslaves to my order and I will pay by PayPal.

Q3) What is the voltage of the 220uF NP Blackgate? 16V or 25V?

    Thx

    hi ck

you wire the 5v4 regulator like a "zener diode", thus only Out and Gnd. the ccs2 is a constant current source feeding this "zener".

can you send me pics of the acdc? send to my email.

audioslave is a 5v reg. as the components are surface mounted, it's not easy to modify. but i can build a few audioslave to whatever voltage you desire. just email me offlist.

for the 220uf black gates n, only the 6.3v version fits the pcb.  Smiley

    Hi Yeo,

CCS to Zener, I understand now.

6v3 is very good as Blackgate is more expensive than Gold by weight.  Angry

My ultimate I2S Monica DAC is done. 6 advanced power regulators while 3 are Paul Hynes' design.  Grin

    Hi all,

I have been dreaming of a world class digital front end since black crow and mojo2 came on the scene!
I am starting to populate mojo 2.

Is there any benefit in replacing LM 317 ccs with the LT 1085?

ARe there any other better/ quieter  circuits to set the constant current?

What is the constant current set for mojo 2 ?

    thanks

    hi

sorry, never done this before. i'll say go ahead with the 317 first. build up your mojo2 first.

you can always mod it later.

    hi
I want to confirm that the side of the label for the ztx 651 and 751 corresponds to the straight line of the markings on the mojo2 board ? The only exception is the ztx751c.

    Hi Yeo,

Great to see Mojo2 is up and running !

    (deleted)

BTW, I finally started to get my Charlize2 amps running - one done and the other in progress. I replaced the caps with SilmicII. Some pics for you.

Cutting and filing the cap leads to fit  :
