    Hi

you need an interstage not an output transformer. Try this:

you need 1 for every channel. I have no experience with mars transformer only with lundahl.Bass is deeper and tighter and the overall resolution and dynamic improved a lot.

    hi Kp93300

JS-2008NM looks good too but kinda more expensive. i have talk to Chung about this and he said this one is similar to tango nc-20f as toni suggested. what do you think Toni? as nc-20f is very hard to source these days.

    Hi
The 2008 NM is beyond my reach because of pricing.
If I have the spec i hope to ask a local winder to try and wind one for testing.

    regards

    Hi

when the JS-2008 NM is identical thith the NC20 its an bargain for this price. The NC 20 is the best 1:1 IT you can buy. To replace the crappy caps with in good IT worth every penny

    Chung claims that:
JS-2008NM sound a bit warm (James style), while NC20F sound a bit
    clear (Tango characteristic).

hi I understand the role of the trans is to remove the DC offset from mojo as a replacement for the caps at output.

Can i check if the trans is able to perform single ended to balance transformation as well?(I think it is SE to Push Pull)

I am looking at Lundahl 1660s

if the secondary side has a center tap, then yes, you could perform se to balanced.

just ground the center tap and one end is +signal, the other is -signal.

    http://www.lundahl.se/pdfs/datash/1660.pdf

according to the datasheet, i should follow the ALT V way of hooking up.

meaning pin 16 and 18 goes to signal ground,
10 and 5 goes to earth
Pin 4 is (-)out and pin 9 is (+)out

    am i correct?

    hi cloud

the lundahl datasheet always needs some redrawing to understand what they mean.

yes, alt v is the way to go.

pins 21/13 is your signal, so 16/18 goes to ground. this is for the primary side.
on the secondary side, i believe 5/10 goes to ground, while pin 4 is -out and pin 9 is +out.
