Hello to all. As already posted in DIYaudio, I have in my possession a pair of Coral 8A-39. As the T/S parameters are unknown, does anybody has any suggestions for an enclosure for these? TQ.

    hi bawang

do you have a photo of the 8a-39? i believe it should be very similar to 8a-40.

the best implementation of the 8a-40 i heard was from an angular spiral horn design.

Hi, Yeo. Unfortunately, the speakers are with my dad in my hometown, about 350 km away..... Will go home during CNY, will take a photo for you then..... Thanks.

Hello, Yeo. Have searched the web in all of my spare time about the spiral horn enclosure but found very limited info and/or construction details. As my carpentry skills are limited, do you sell these type of enclosures? Any other decent sounding but easy to built enclosures?

Also, after more than a quarter of a century, will the magnet of the Coral 8A-39 loose its strength?

    hi vk

drop me a private mail, yeo at diyparadise dot com.

as long as your driver isn't exposed to heat or very powerful magnetic strength, it should be okay. but yes, some loss is to be expected.
