Does it improve it even more to fill it with lead shot or kiln dried sand?

Greetings all, long time no see. I am intrigued by these merril drivers. Any specs graphs yet? Also are the surrounds rubber or foam, bit hard to tell in the photo?

    hi all

i tried the dca 4 on the S.P.Q.R, i found that for the DCA 5.5 the enclosure require more damping but for the dca 4 only the compression chamber require damping, both of them sound very good

Ohhh, I am so tempted to try diy speakers. But the SPQR is a bit too big to fit into my listening room.  Sad
