Hello Ian,
yes you are so correct, it doesn't take "them" much to complain. (Or us for that matter

)
To be honest, Only some Tube amps Tweaked to the maximum and some Nelson Pass SE designs we've tried can at all compete with the performance of a Charlize. (Those other amps are even more critical to choice of speakers)
Tube amps aren't bad in comparison, but you are pointing out exactly what I've found, the clarity and realism takes a lot of efforts, matching and testing to get close to the Charlize kinda sound. Still if seriously never giving up, not needing much power, no budget, then you can to some peoples taste' pass Charlize's performance..

Hello yeo,
It is hard to believe that some people does not like monica? May I ask what do they like?? HA HA do they like anything at all?
Still YES monica has of course been improved seriously, so the earliest versions aren't as good as the last ones with
mojo involved and so.
So I can understand that some people could find some DAC's that can compete with the early versions of the monica's.
That someone actually can DISLIKE monica as she is NOW, both monica3 and USB-Monica is hard for me to even believe.
They must in some way have a system that can't handle good sound??
I can't think of any other possibilities.
That they dislike Charlize is also hard to believe, but that they could like something else a little bit better should be possible, in some cases..

Anyway, Free country, yes it is in many ways. It really is, most ways actually.
I didn't quite understand your statement though, but that's OK.
We are free, we live free, we are free to say what we want, we are free to go where we want, live where we want in the world, choose whatever to do, almost everything is a free choice to get or buy cause most have enough economical freedom, hospitals is free, all health care is more or less free, education of any kind is free for everyone,
Yes My country is per definition relatively FREE in most ways.
BTW, I hope you did not misunderstand the irony of some of the things I listed up there in the last post...

What I know now, is that Any day, any time it would take me some hours to setup a system anywhere around here,
and everyone with they're hearing in working condition would be seriously Shocked.
AND IT would be easy to do so with Monica and Charlize2, choice of speakers would vary with the size of the room, or if it was outside.
I am very sure that most people that would have listened to that setup, would think there where something WRONG with they're own system when listening to it after that experience.
If they are not the type of people that likes a stereo to sound like a whole football team trying to break trough a thin plastic or wood wall
