Ultravox is a USB Isolator based on Analog Devices' ADUM4160.
Effective isolates your PC's dirty power supply noise from corrupting your USB Monica.
Need to provide DC voltage. 7-25VDC is fine. As usual, Red wire - V+, Black wire - GND.
Input is via USB B socket. I got a lot of stick for using USB A plug on USB Monica as seems like there are more audiophile grade type B USB cables rather than type A. So, making amends now!
Type A end, just plug into your USB Monica. If need to, use a short USB cable extender.
Best way is to install Ultravox as near to your USB Monica as possible, keeping this link between them as short as possible. Better still, install in your USB Monica!
If you want to solder the USB connections rather than use USB cables, I'm not stopping you!
