I get so many enquiries for this, I'm now offering the blank PCB for sale.
Schumann Guide
Update on 14 Jan 2016. New PCB is much easier to assemble. You may not even need the assembly guide.
You need a soldering iron, solder, wires, a 12VDC power supply (capable of at least 0.5 amp), a chassis of your desire and connections as deemed fit.
You also need a multimeter to measure the voltage and also to measure the frequency while you adjust the trim pot. Oh yeah, a flat blade screwdriver allows easier adjustment on the trim pot.
Update on 14 Jan 2016. There are locations labeled "7.83Hz" and "GND" for you to place your meter probes.
If your multimeter can't measure frequency, get access to an oscilloscope. If all else fails... well, sorry, I can't help you!
You could also choose to power it via USB. In this case, install type B socket, and omit the diode as well as 7805 regulator.
Timing components 100kohm pot and 1-2uF capacitor could be replaced with 10kohm pot and 22uF for easier tuning.
