May I know which power supply you are using for this dac?

the 2200uF is meant as a power supply reservoir supplying the discrete R2R dac circuitry.

yes, it would function without this capacitor and the regulator board already has some capacitance on it but we diyers are well known to be anal retentive.

if it suits us, we will say “less is more”.
if it suits us, we will say “more is better”!

we are a bunch of a**holes. 🙂

How are you now. I bought your NOS DAC in 2008. I’ve checked VT4C.com. It’s no longer exist. Do you know where I can get this kit ? I’m interested with HDMI output. Can’t afford for Jay’s Audio ?. Thanks.

full range drivers low frequency performance tend to taper off at lower frequencies so horns help tremendously here.

bass reflex will muddy your mids.

I still found online that a pair of speakers were for sale in Norway. Well, for Vilnius, there is a couple in Lithuania, you can buy it for maybe 80 Eur.
